The Derbyshire Park Project will be approached with a two-phase framework, with the initial Phase I being the Master Plan. The Derbyshire Park Master Plan will establish a long-term vision for transforming one of Daytona Beach’s most important community parks into a vibrant, accessible, and destination-quality recreational facility. Guided by extensive public engagement and collaboration with City staff, stakeholders, and elected officials, the planning process will identify opportunities to enhance athletic facilities, expand recreational amenities, improve connectivity, and strengthen supporting infrastructure.

Building upon recommendations from the City’s Parks and Recreation Master Plan, the project will evaluate existing conditions and develop a comprehensive master plan that balances community priorities with future recreational needs. The final plan will serve as the roadmap for future investment, providing construction-ready design guidance that supports Derbyshire Park as a premier destination for residents, visitors, athletic programs, and community events.

Throughout the planning process, community input will remain at the center of decision-making, ensuring the vision reflects the needs and aspirations of those who use and value Derbyshire Park.

Schedule subject to refinement as project milestones and public engagement dates are finalized.
